About Dr. Jennie Walker:

Dr. Jennie Walker specializes in developing people and organizations for success in complex, diverse, and increasingly global environments. She teaches university courses and consults with organizations around the globe on their talent and organizational development needs, providing new insights and solutions. She has worked in adult learning and performance since 1995, designing and facilitating programs in leadership, communication, diversity, performance management, employee engagement and HR management for multiple industries. She has specialized in corporate leadership development since 2002, designing and delivering programs for many Fortune 500 companies. She has direct study and work experience in Spain, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Suriname and India, along with extensive international travel, and is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Walker is passionate about inclusive excellence practices and global leadership development for the benefits they generate for individuals, organizations, and societies. She has been an invited speaker at many professional and academic conferences, such as AERA, Academy of Management, DU Diversity Summit, SHRM, International Leadership Association, ASTD, Human Capital Institute Global Talent Management Summit, and Academy of International Business.

She has been published in Journal of Management Education, Advances in Global Leadership, HR People & Strategy Journal, MBA Women’s Guide to Success, Inside HR magazine, SHRM’s award-winning blog We Know Next, and co-authored “Developing Your Global Mindset: The Handbook for Successful Global Leaders.” Her dissertation research, “Do Methods Matter in Global Leadership Development?” used both quantitative and qualitative research methods to reveal the degree to which different learning methodologies impact global leadership development. Dr. Walker is a certified Professional in Human Resources and earned her Ph.D. at the University of Denver.
